Jake Mangis
Jake Mangis was born and raised in Jackson, Wyoming. He grew up fishing every creek and river this region has to offer. Jake has traveled to Alaska, Belize and Louisiana to enjoy other unique fly fishing waters. Prior to owning Mangis Fishing Guides, Jake guided hunting trips every fall for his father, who owns Circle S Outfitters. If not guiding fishermen, you’ll probably find him somewhere in his boat on the lake or the river with his family.

Chad Corbin
Chad was born in Iowa and moved out to Jackson to start his fishing career on the Snake River in 1989. The Jackson area quickly became his forever home. He married his lovely wife in 1994 and they raised their two children in Star Valley. His other outdoors passions include snowmobiling and hunting.

Dillon Hartranft
Dillon was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Wyoming. He has a B.S. in Wildlife Biology and Management from the University of Wyoming. In the winter, Dillon is a snowmobile guide. When not guiding, he enjoys backpacking and hunting.

Ralph Hlebak
Ralph began guiding in the late 70’s in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, on the Snake, Salt, Green and New Fork Rivers in Wyoming and many waters in Idaho and Montana.
He loves to put a smile on his clients’ faces, whether they are catching a fish for the first time or catching the fish of a lifetime. Ralph’s knowledge of fishing is easily conveyed from beginner to expert, and his enthusiasm for the sport, whether fly or spin fishing, is contagious.
On Ralph’s days off, you’ll find him fishing on the local rivers and lakes. In winter months, he’ll seek out turquoise water and white sand beaches in search of permit and bonefish.
Other passions include big game hunting on horseback, skiing, spending time with his Chesapeake Retriever, Tug, and restoring vintage cars.

Tyler Staal
Tyler started hunting and fishing in the Killdeer Mountains of North Dakota. He discovered his interest in fly fishing while living in Colorado. Tyler settled in Jackson Hole in 2019 and soon began guiding for Mangis Fishing Guides.

Larry Milton
Larry was born and raised in the scenic finger lakes region of Western New York, where he grew up camping, hunting and fishing. After graduating from high school in 1977, he spent several summers backpacking and fishing all over the West, finally settling in Jackson Hole in the early 80’s. Larry worked in restaurants and spent his spare time hunting and fishing throughout the region. He started working as a professional fishing guide in 1991 and has been with Mangis Fishing Guides for over 30 years.

Tom Toolson
Tom has been guiding and outfitting in Jackson for over 50 years. He was born in Montana and grew up in Jackson. Tom previously owned T Lazy T Outfitters and Yellowstone Snowmobiling Tours. Tom’s son John, who is a 4th generation Jackson, native now owns and manages both of these businesses.

Josh Spradlin
Josh was born and raised in Indiana. He moved to Jackson in 2013. He’s been guiding river trips in the summers and snowmobile trips in the winters for almost a decade. When he is not guiding you can probably find him on the river fly fishing. Josh likes to ski, snowmobile, raft, camp, mountain bike and play guitar in his free time. He also enjoys hunting and hiking.

Matt George
Matt was born and raised in south Florida, where he grew up fishing and going to the everglades on the weekends with his buddies. After college, he decided to head out West to pursue his love for the outdoors. When Matt isn’t guiding hunting or fishing trips, he spends his time reading, riding horses, packing mules, or chasing the next bite.
